Your customer list is not our asset

You're trusting us with the contact details of people who trust you. This page describes exactly what that means in practice.

What we hold

Account data for your business: your name, email, business details and the referral offer you configure.
Customer data you import: names, email addresses, phone numbers, and any optional fields you choose to include such as city, tags, and last job value.
Referral data: the people your customers refer, the status of each referral, the job value you enter, and the rewards produced.
Message records: every SMS and email sent on your behalf, including its delivery status.

We use your customer data for exactly one purpose: running your referral program. We send the campaigns you create, attribute the referrals that come back, and deliver the rewards you approve.
We do not market to your customers on our own behalf. We do not sell, rent or share your customer list with anyone. We do not use your data to build products for other businesses.
Aggregate, non-identifying platform totals may be used to operate and improve the service.

Message delivery runs through our SMS and email providers, which receive the recipient's phone number or email address and the message content in order to deliver it.
Reward payouts run through the payout provider you select, which receives the recipient's name, email address and reward amount.
Our database is hosted with a managed Postgres provider. Provider credentials we hold are encrypted before they are stored.

Any customer can be marked opted out, which removes them from all future messaging immediately and permanently unless you re-subscribe them.
You can delete customers from your account at any time. Deleting a business account removes its customers, referrals, rewards and message history.

Your data stays exportable for as long as your account is open.
